Meet the Team.
Behind GT One is a close-knit team of Porsche specialists who live and breathe the brand. From routine maintenance through to complex mechanical work, our technicians have decades of hands-on experience working exclusively with Porsche models of all generations. This depth of knowledge is what allows us to deliver consistently high standards of Porsche servicing and repairs, carried out properly and without compromise.
Alongside our workshop, we also operate a fully equipped in house Porsche bodyshop, allowing us to handle everything from accident repair and paintwork to detailed cosmetic restoration under one roof. Having servicing, diagnostics and bodywork working together as one team means better communication, better results and a level of care that owners simply do not get from larger, corporate garages.

Experience: Working on Porsche’s since 1987, Craig, an engine builder by trade, started at the original importer of Porsche in the UK, AFN Isleworth, on cars such as the then new 3.2 and 944. Craig worked at the sole UK outlet of RUF in Weybridge, Surrey, on such cars as the Yellowbird, before founding GT One Ltd in 1999.

Experience: Mike started in the motor trade 13 years ago and has worked for such brands as BMW, Land Rover and Mclaren. Always a Porsche enthusiast he was able to start as a service advisor at Porsche Bournemouth, but due to a family move, he searched for another enthusiastic repairer and found one 100 yards from his front door, here at GT One Ltd.

Experience: Matt started as an apprentice in 1995 studying at Guildford Tech and has worked with brands such as Jaguar, Aston Martin and predominantly Porsche. Matt’s main dealer experience at Porsche Guildford and Porsche Byfleet is invaluable to helping resolve the most complex repairs and nurture the upcoming apprentices we have at GT One.

Experience: Leo has worked at GT One alongside his apprenticeship with Brooklands College for the last 3 years. Being exposed to ‘the GT One way’ with his mentor Matt, Leo is a confident member of the team with knowledge past his years of the Porsche product.

Experience: Working within Bodyshop’s since 1978, Gary specialises in painting and his abilities are second to none. Classic Aston Martin’s, Ferrari’s and being the only approved repairer of the first Tesla roadster, are only some of vehicles Gary has built his reputation upon. Now he and his longtime colleague Don have joined the GT One family.

Experience: Working within Bodyshop’s since 1980, Don specialises in prep for paint and everything before, after and in-between. Being Gary’s longtime colleague his attention to detail has enabled jobs of all levels of complexity to be undertaken. His passion for bodywork is infectious and GT One is certainly benefitting from this.
